  4. For best performance and ease of use make sure to set up the PLUSDATA=
  5. variable in your Autoexec.bat file. Check P56DOC for instructions.
  6. This will now work even if you run PrintPlus from another drive.
  7. As long as you boot from the drive with the AUTOEXEC.BAT file that 
  8. contains the set PLUSDATA= 
  9.  
  10. If Your printer doesn't print the way it should with PrintPlus, check
  11. your printer manual for the correct printer codes. Enter them in the printer
  12. setup windows under the Setup Menu.
  13.  
  14. You can add more than one printer code in one setup if you want
  15.

  23. CTRL-R will refresh the screen display. When you change a floppy you can
  24. use this to show the new files.

  26. If your printer doesn't support Ibm box Characters you can toggle to user
  27. define characters with [Alt-B].
  28. You can then either print p56doc out like this or redirect it to a file in 
  29. the Redirect Menu.
  30. In the Setup Window you have the option of redefining the characters by 
  31. pressing E for edit.

  33. NEW TO VERSION 5.60
  34. -------------------
  35. Version 5.6 of PrintPlus has a few more features and some changes.
  36. You can now display the file names on screen sorted by alpha, extension or none.
  37.  
  38. There is a rename function, alt-R. This will rename the file under the
  39. cursor to the name you enter. If you have Dos v3 and up this will also
  40. rename directories.

  42. I added another Pmode. Pmode 0.
  43. This will print the file straight through without removing or adding formfeeds.
  44. No reformatting is done. This will be useful for files with embedded formfeeds
  45. like Doc files.
  46. This will also make it easier to print from page n to n.

  49. Answer format of some common questions.

  52. In most cases it is best to leave skip on and filter on. These are available
  53. just in case you need a little more control in some situations.

  55. Most Users will probably not have a need to toggle these off.

  59. The file KEY included is a one page "Quick Reference" GUIDE for some 
  60. common key commands.
  61. Print this out from DOS or use PrintPlus in Pmode 0 with Header off.
  62. If your printer won't print the IBM box graphics toggle to User define
  63. ones with Alt-B before printing.
  64. This will just fit on one page.

  66. The Pmodes keys have been change from:    F1,F2 & F3
  67.                                    to:  0, 1, 2,&  3.
